My "Moose" sculpture recently won the Kentucky Wildlife Award that is given to the exhibits best work at the Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit .

Michigan Art Castings: A New Fine Art Bronze Foundry
Michigan Art Castings, a fine art bronze foundry collaborating with sculptors nationwide, has just recently opened. Most future orders of my table-top and smaller size sculptures will now be processed by this foundry. I'm confident you'll be very pleased with the attention to detail and craftsmanship associated with every piece.

Best of Show!
We had great time at Sculpture in the Hills in Hill City, SD. There was plenty sunshine, a little hail, old friends and new, but the icing on the cake was the jurors selecting my Ahh... right there as Best of Show.

"Rainbow Trout" selected for SAA exhibit.
"Rainbow Troutâ€, has been selected for the 50th Annual Exhibition of the Society of Animal Artists, to be displayed from September 4 through October 31, 2010 at San Diego Natural History Museum.
The exhibit will then move to Parker, Colorado to be displayed at The Wildlife Experience from November 20 through February 21, 2011 -

Resting Elk among three chosen
The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center in Troy, OH is the host of a small sculpture exhibit from June 28th through August 23rd. Also selected was "Lean on Me" and "Cautious Buck".

Watchful Doe makes Ohio show.
Watchful Doe, life size is one of 22 pieces selected for Sculptures on the Square IV. The exhibit and sale is hosted by Troy Main Street and runs until September 20, 2009.

Fawn meets frog makes SAA Small Works show
"Fawn meets frog" and "Fawn with an itch" (miniature versions) were both selected for the Society of Animal Artist 2nd Annual "Small Works – Big Impressions" show and sale.
The exhibit is hosted by The Wildlife Experience in Parker, CO and runs November 15, 2008 – January 4, 2009. -
Watchful Doe chosen for Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit
"Watchful Doe with twin fawns" was among a handful of sculptures selected to be part the 2008 Eighth Biennial Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit and a major award winner.
The exhibit and sale is presented by the Ohio Valley Art League & Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and hosted by the Henderson Fine Arts Center in Henderson, KY. The exhibit runs until November 7, 2008. -

Savings on sets of miniature sculptures
Currently, we're offering savings on purchases of related sets of sculptures.
I find that many collectors find one type of creature especially appealing, and hopefully this makes it easier to focus on that special interest. -
"Watchful Doe" displayed at the Ella Sharp Museum of Art & History
I'm very pleased to have a piece juried in the 2007 State Wide Fine Arts Competition hosted by the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, MI the for the 2nd straight year. The Ella Sharp Museum is a beautiful facility and the work in the show is always top quality.
"Watchful Doe" tells the story of a doe and her twin fawns out on one of their first forays. -

Chippewa Nature Center's 10th Annual Nature Art Show & Sale
I will be at the 10th Annual Nature Art Show & Sale presented by the Chippewa Nature Center December 1 - 2, 2007 in Midland, MI.
The show presents a broad range of work and provides a nice opportunity to talk to the individual artists. I hope to see you there.
